This course presents a walk-through on the various topics of Raja Yoga, using two main sources, the first being Swami Ramakrishnananda's writings on the subject, and the second, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, with the classic commentary (bhashya) of Vyasa.
The course is aimed at equipping the student with knowledge of the terminology of raja yoga, so he can understand and continue to explore these topics. The course covers, among other subjects, the type of vrittis, nature of kleshas, viveka, types of Samadhi and a comprehensive view of the limbs of Ashtanga Yoga.
